TRAVEL RODCAST 24!

TRAVEL RODCAST 24!
Welcome to the latest Travel Rodcast, where we put our customers into the spotlight! Here we will be taking a look at some of the biggest, best and most exciting catches of the back end of last year. That includes late summer and autumn! First up, above you can see four fish that really have the WOW factor!

TROUT AND SALMON FISHING

Next up, let's check out some trout and salmon. We love our trout fishing in the UK, and every now and again we see a stunning migratory fish caught on our rods. I mean, that magnificent fish below definitely has the WOW factor too!

PIKE FISHING

Compact rods like ours make lure angling so much easier. You can cover a lot more ground, keep a rod in the boot of your car for any impromptu opportunity, and even switch between tips for different cast weights. This makes them ideal for pike, and you can see the evidence below... from the UK all the way to Finland!

FISH FROM AFAR

The other main advantage to the portability of our rods is that they are great for taking on holiday, travelling or working abroad! Many of our models will fit in your hand luggage, but all of them will fit in your suitcase! As a result, we get to see some really cool and unusual fish caught on our rods almost every month.

CARP AND CATFISH

While pack-rods are excellent for taking away, we're seeing more and more people using them for their everyday fishing needs too. Unparalleled convenience is just too much to resist, even the carp anglers are starting to turn!

OTHER PREDATORS

We've already discussed pike, but there are plenty more cracking predatory species out there to target, particularly with lures! Check out these awesome captures from our community... perch, zander and French black bass!

AND EVERYTHING ELSE

And just to finish off, here's a few more fish that caught our eye, and we wanted to share them with you. Thanks for reading, and don't forget to keep sending in your catches and tagging us on Instagram for a chance to feature. We've got our annual fish of the year competition coming soon, so keep an eye out for that!
